How to Establish, Maintain, and Conclude a Mentoring Relationship.
This one-day program is intended for use with the one-day program described
immediately hereafter. As a result of this workshop, participants delineate
the contracting process between mentor and mentee. They also delineate
the processes and issues involved in helping mentees map their own careers,
while absorbing guidelines pertaining to potential ethical dilemmas and
other concerns.
How to Provide a Value-Added Experience for Both Mentors and Mentees.
This workshop helps participants to define expectations for both mentors
and mentees and to challenge existing assumptions for both mentors and
mentees to bolster professional growth. Participants are able to offer
help to the mentee without taking control while they develop confidence
in setting, meeting, and exceeding expectations of mentees.
Effective Coaching Skills for Managers and Supervisors. Participants learn
to apply a systematic approach to coaching that is focused on observable
behavior, business principles, and time-tested techniques rather than
on ersatz psychology. Participants are better able to assess and discover
unproductive mental models and barriers to coaching success while strengthening
their skills in observing behavior and in providing authentic, effective
feedback.
